Sweet corn – For ease of preparation, I prefer canned sweet corn, but fresh corn can also be used. For using fresh corn in boiling water, add salt and 1 tsp of sugar and boil the corn in it. Cut the kernels from the cob with a knife.
Cheese – This recipe includes mozzarella cheese, but any other cheese can also be used if you have it. Cream cheese is also a good choice, or you can use sour cream as well. This is another perfect match with sweet corn.
Butter and oil – I am using both butter and olive oil in this recipe. Both butter and olive oil, when used in cooking, help carry the tastes of the dish, and warming them emphasizes this quality. But butter adds a dairy richness that no oil can equal because it is smooth and creamy. Olive oil has a distinct flavor and smell. They improve the flavors of your dish when combined.
Spices – Chili flakes, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper are used in this recipe.

How To Make Spicy Cheese Corn Sandwich
In a fry pan, melt the butter. Add olive oil and chopped garlic. Fry it on low heat until it turns light golden in color, then add the chili flakes and fry for a few seconds before adding the sweet corn to the fry pan. Add the corn and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Continuously stir it. Turn the flame off and add it to a bowl and let it cool down.
Add lemon juice, herbs, and spices to it. Put in the ketchup and mayonnaise and mix it well. You can also add chaat masala to it as well.

- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Italian herbs
- 4 slices of bread
Instructions
- In a non-stick saucepan, add butter and melt it. Add olive oil, a garlic clove, chili flakes, and sweet corn. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes over medium heat.
- Remove it from the stove and place it in a glass bowl. Let it cool down.
- Add ketchup, mayonnaise, lemon juice, black pepper, salt, Italian herbs and mozzarella cheese.
- Mix it thoroughly. Spread it on one slice of bread and top it with the other, or if you like, spread some butter on the slices of bread before adding the filling.
