Multisport Magnetic Peg Game on Large Base
I can usually ship within a week, but because of a health issue, during December and depending on the order, it may take until January to ship your peg game. Sometime in January I will change the shipping back to 5-7 days.
This is a durable peg game using magnets, but THERE ARE NO LOOSE MAGNETS. All magnets are counter-sunk into pine wood. The magnets are glued in and then covered by a clear, water and UV resistant, FDA food compliant, and high gloss resin. The large base size is 5.5 inches wide, 6.5 inches in length, and just under 1 in height. When a peg is jumped, it is stored on the side of the game. Each peg has a metal washer or nut glued to the bottom. There are three rubber feet underneath to keep the game from sliding. There are several choices of colors for the base and sports pegs. If you don’t see the color you want for the base, message me and I’ll see what I can do.
You can even make your own pegs. All you need to do is glue a metal washer or nut to the bottom of them.
These peg games are not perfect 🙂 Surrounding the wooden bases in resin takes at least three applications, with a drying time of at least 24 hours each. It is difficult to keep all of the drips from hardening and catching all of the other little imperfections working with resin. The tops of the games look pretty good, but there may be some drips of resin underneath that hardened before I could smooth them out. I have found a way to ground down the drips, but then that means another application of resin and sometimes it creates more problems. I will do my best to send you a product that has the least number of flaws. These are made by me in my garage using a sliding miter saw and a hand drill. The pictures are taken with a “not so new” iPhone and a $37 light box. Please message me if you have any questions or concerns.
The magnets are 10mm x 2mm N35 Neodymium. Their strength is weakened by the resin, especially on the top, but still plenty strong enough to securely hold down the pegs. I have read conflicting reports about the danger to electronics, credit cards, and pacemakers, but it’s best to keep all of them away.
The delivery time will ultimately depend on the availability of the pegs. I try to keep enough on hand, but if I run out it may take 10 days for the new pegs to arrive.
This is the 29th peg game posted. A few more will be posted soon.
